Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other state privacy laws, you have the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information.

1. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws possess specific rights regarding their personal information. One of these critical rights is the ability to opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" (for cross-context behavioral advertising) of your personal information.

2. WHAT CONSTITUTES A "SALE"?

Under certain state laws, a "sale" is defined broadly. It does not just mean exchanging data for money. It can include sharing, disclosing, or communicating personal information to a third party for any valuable consideration. Additionally, "sharing" involves the disclosure of your personal information to third parties for targeted advertising purposes.

Because of our core business model—connecting homeowners with contractors—we share your data with third parties to fulfill your requests for quotes. This may be classified as a "sale" under certain state laws.

3. OUR DATA SHARING PRACTICES

When you explicitly request a quote or service through Apex Home Solutions, we transmit your contact details and project information to independent contractors, service providers, or lead aggregators in our network so they can contact you with estimates. If you exercise your right to opt-out, we will no longer be able to match you with these contractors.

We do not sell the personal information of consumers we know are under 16 years of age.

4. HOW TO SUBMIT A REQUEST

Please note that we may need to verify your identity before processing your request, which may require you to provide additional information matching the data we have on file.
